MO's Big Ten Predictions for Week 5

Conference games start with a lot of great matchups this week.  Although I will only
be able to partially see them, the floor football guru makes the following predictions:

Games
Prediction
Northwestern (DS) @
Illinois (KCoo/KW)
In the Big Ten’s first trophy game, give the Land of Lincoln Trophy to Illinois.

Prediction:  Illinois by 7
Penn State (CS) @
Indiana (KA)
Indiana only won one non-conference game, and their opponents weren’t exactly goliaths.  They’ll be lucky to win a single game in conference play.

Prediction:  Penn State by 21
Iowa (BD/GB)
BYE
Minnesota (SCan) @
Michigan (KCar)
Michigan will run rampant on Minnesota.

Prediction:  Michigan by 17
Michigan State (BH/JJ) @
Ohio State (SL)
BH needs to lose some football games, and this is one of them, but it will be really close.  Give the home team the close win.

Prediction:  Ohio State by 1.
Nebraska (JMSOO) @
Wisconsin (LF/MR)
The biggest game in the big ten schedule.  Everyone has these two teams penciled in for the championship game and rightfully so.  This will be a great game, but I think it will come down to QB play and will give the edge to the home team’s Wilson over Martinez.

Prediction:  Wisconsin by 3
Notre Dame @
Purdue (AM/MO)
Notre Dame just has more athletes than Purdue, but expect a close game.

Prediction:  Notre Dame by 5
