An Update!

Wow.  I have been quite derelict in my duties.  Two weeks have gone by without an update.  I didn't help that I had an official case of the 2011 Horrific Crud.  Now that I'm feeling better, I thought I'd update our scores.  An hour or so later, I think I've got them all (except tonight's NFL game).  With a 40 point spread, I think this sucker's over.  I administratively removed Top Chef from our pool, since we haven't drawn and it's been going for 3weeks now.  I think we'll either have to give the lowest person that pool or think of something else.  Ideas?

Also, my apologies to KW, who sent me this America's Top Model Week 9 Update a while back, which I neglected to post.

Each contestant had to give a speech to public dignitaries upon arrival, including the mayor of Crete. Laura (AM) crashed and burned, even saying that if she could be a Greek goddess she would be Venus...oops! Allison (DS) was, of course, fantastic and won the challenge. 

This episode featured each of the lovely ladies posing for the camera in a bowl of Greek Salad. Shannon (BH) had a fit about this, refusing to pose in underwear. This is understandable, this is her "brand" ("pure"), and she believes only her husband should see her in lingerie. A good thing to hold true to, however, I do believe that when you sign up for this show, you should be prepared to pose in small amounts of fabric or even none at all. #justsayin' She was told "no offense, but it's easier to change the model than the prototype." yikes! She still wasn't convinced to do the shoot. Bad move.

Allison (DS) said that when getting into the bowl, if felt like she was stepping into someone's organs. She did not do well because she has "vampire eyes" and couldn't open them without tears running from the bright sun on the beach...wah...

First to be called is Dominique (KW, SCan), woo-hoo! Followed by Allison, Angelea (BD, KCar), and Lisa (KCoo), leaving Shannon and Laura in the bottom two.Shannon goes homes and Laura stays. They said it was because Shannon hadn't had the top photo yet this season, yet strangely, neither has Laura.... Should have posed with the bathing suit-like unawears (sp?).
